Great pub, accommodated us even though they where busy and we hadn’t booked. Pleasant and efficient service in a great atmosphere. Food was good quality and value for money. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Wonderful pub, we have visited twice now and and on both occasions have had positive experiences with delicious food and top service. The fact that it is a dog friendly pub makes it all the more appealing and on our next visit we intend to bring our 4 legged friend with us. Food, drink, decor and service all 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went to the Royal Oak for the first time on Sunday afternoon with my wife after traveling back from West Sussex. We popped in with out booking and luckily we managed to get a table. We decided to not have a starter and go straight to the mains, my wife had the homemade curry and I had the ploughman’s which were both very good then we had a cheese cake for dessert which was lovely. The pub it self is a typical new forest pub with some good walks around it, as for the staff they were very helpful and friendly and I would recommend this pub if you fancy really good food and it’s a great pub if you just fancy a drink. My wife and I have both said that we can’t wait to go back with some friends and make an evening of it.
